Cutler Citizens to Discuss the Anticipated Allocations and Development of Proposed 2011-2012 Annual Action Plan for Grants BUFFALO – Mayor Brown invites the citizens of Buffalo to attend a public hearing to discuss the anticipated allocations and development of the Proposed 2011-2012 Annual Action Plan for the following formula grants:
Citizens are encouraged to express their view regarding the use of the anticipated funding. Public Hearing Officials will be present to outline accomplishments from the prior year, review the adoption process, provide estimated amounts for entitlements, gauge community appeals, and engaged citizen participation to describe their housing and community development needs. Officials will also provide a description of the range of activities eligible for funding and an estimate of funds to be used to benefit low to moderate income persons. Officials will also discuss the availability of funds to organizations and agencies for the acquisition of various services need to meet planning objects. Application forms will be made available at the event and will be available online under the heading of “Consolidated Plan Documents” on the City’s Office of Strategic Planning website. Application Workshop Officials will be present to assist those interested not-for-profit organizations with technical assistance to complete the application for CDBG, ESG, and HOPWA funding, its review and approval process, and related requirements needed for submission.
