Land Parcel To Local Community Center

806 South Park Avenue Sold to Valley Community Association

The City of Buffalo through the Office of Strategic Planning, Division of Real Estate, has sold the city-owned vacant lot at 806 South Park Avenue to the Valley Community Association. 

“I wish the Valley Community Association the best of luck in their plans for this property,” said Mayor Brown.  “By selling the community center this parcel, we are helping them further their goals which, ultimately, improve upon our residents’ quality of life in South Buffalo.”

The community center owns the adjacent vacant lot at 808 South Park Avenue, and will use the newly purchased parcel to store maintenance equipment used on their community center grounds, as well as an adjacent city owned playground. 

The Division of Real Estate has negotiated the sale in the amount of Two Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($2,600), Seventy Cents ($.70) per square foot of the subject property.  They have also agreed to pay for the cost of the transfer tax and recording fees.
