BUFFALO—Mayor Byron W. Brown and Assessment and Taxation Commissioner Bruna Michaux today announce assistance for those who are facing foreclosure at the city auction scheduled for October 23, 24, and 25, 2006.
 
The City of Buffalo encourages anyone facing foreclosure to have an attorney. Any Buffalo residents who cannot afford an attorney are strongly advised to contact the following agencies for assistance:

Lawyers for the City of Buffalo will be available to meet with concerned homeowners who do not qualify for assistance to seek Pro Se court orders on October 18, 19, 20th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Erie County Courthouse located at 25 Delaware Avenue.
